The 3200 DPI sensor and the super click bottom of the G9 make this mouse feel like butter on a warm pan. I was using a Razer Deathadder and the G9 just clobbers it. Pros: Absolutely the best gaming mouse made at this moment. This predatory mouse comes highly recommended only for those who are serious about gaming and want every edge one can get. I'll put it this way: In a high pressure gaming environment where jedi reflexes & accuracy are everything, the G9 is the tool to perform surgery with. The G9 is better tuned for gaming performance, but the G5/7 are better all-around mice for both play and work. Overall Review: The G5 & G7 are very good gaming mice, and I don't believe this mouse is a "Must Have" for many gamers. Top surface can get a little warm and can cause slight finger perspiration, too. Also, lateral movement of the scroll wheel is not as easy as G5/7's. In other words, the G9 is further optimized for fast paced sessions that demand quick and precise movements. The G9 is better suited for a hand that's in "armed" position and ready to pounce.
The G9 is not as ergonomic for a relaxed "resting" hand position, because it is shorter in height & length and provides much less support than its two predecessors.
